Planned Results <br />Through Through Through Throug <br />i2f3_1_/_7-:? 4741-/-74 6-1-34/7.& 9/30/78 <br />To provide free Recreation and Instruction <br />to approximately 245 low income Children <br />(ages 5-14) for 10 weeks this summer. This <br />program will be for those children living <br />in the North or West County area and will <br />be held on the premises of a North County <br />School and at the Vero Beach YMCA complex. <br />The aim is to offer organized athletic <br />activities for the Children; to provide <br />classes in Music, Drama, and Art; and to <br />teach all Non -Swimmers how to swim. The <br />latter. is 60% of the total of 245 children <br />or 147. <br />CPU <br />0 <br />cs <br />R <br />W <br />Each morning at 8A.M. County school busses will <br />transport the children to the new North <br />County Middle School. Here children will be <br />grouped by age and scheduled into daily activi- <br />ties. Lunch will be provided for them by the <br />County. <br />During the day all children will be transported <br />to the YMCA to be taught how to swim or to im- <br />prove existing skills. YMCA Staff will instruct <br />in swimming and also act as group leaders and <br />staff at the School. <br />Children will be transported home at 5P.M. by <br />County School busses. <br />Page 3-C <br />To provide meaningfu Summer Recreation and <br />Education to 245 chi dren of low income Fam$ <br />lies.
