ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD A REQUESTED RE- <br />ZONING OF PROPERTY ANNEXED INTO THE -CITY OF VERO BEACH, WHICH HE NOTED <br />IS THE SAME SITUATION WHICH AROSE RECENTLY WITH PROPERTY ANNEXED INTO <br />THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN. IF THE ANNEXED PROPERTY IS REZONED WITHIN TWO <br />YEARS AND THERE IS A DENSITY CHANGE, THERE MUST BE COUNTY APPROVAL. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT HE FEELS THE PROPOSED REZONING TO B-1 <br />'PLANNED BUSINESS DISTRICT`S IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AREA, AND HE WOULD <br />RECOMMEND APPROVAL. HE POINTED OUT THAT THE COUNTY NO LONGER HAS ANY <br />CONTROL OVER THIS AREA AS IT IS NOW WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS. <br />THE BOARD DISCUSSED HAVING THE COUNTY ZONING MAPS CHANGED <br />TO REFLECT THE REZONING, AND IT WAS AGREED THAT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />SHOULD ATTEND TO THIS. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION 78-15 APPROVING THE <br />REZONING TO B-1 AS REQUESTED FOR THE PROPOSED WIGGINS SHOPPING .ENTER. <br />11 <br />MAR .81979 BOOK '4 93 <br />J <br />
