RESOLUTION NO.2012-jjj <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF UTILITY SERVICES' SCHEDULE OF WATER AND SEWER RATES, <br />FEES AND OTHER CHARGES, BY ADDING A FLAT RATE FOR THE <br />VOLUMETRIC SEWER PORTION OF THE UTILITY BILL FOR <br />CERTAIN SEWER ONLY ACCOUNTS <br />WHEREAS, section 102.10 of the Code of Indian River County ("Code") provides that <br />rates, fees and charges adopted by the Board of County Commissioners may be adopted by <br />resolution, to the extent permitted by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously adopted by resolution certain rates, fees and <br />charges for services provided by the Department of Utility Services, as set forth in the Schedule <br />of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and other charges, as amended from time to time ("Schedule"); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to further amend the Schedule, as set forth herein <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />1. Findings. The above "whereas clauses" are adopted as the findings of the Board, <br />and are incorporated herein. <br />2. Amendment to Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. The Board hereby <br />amends the Department of Utility Services' Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other <br />Charges, by adding the following rates, fees and other charges which shall apply only to (a) <br />sewer only accounts existing as of January 1, 2013, to which County water service is not <br />provided, and (b) sewer only accounts established after January 1, 2013, to which County water <br />service is not available. <br />Volume Charge for Mobile Home or Manufactured Home: $ 8.58/month <br />Volume Charge for Single Family Homes under 3500 squar <br />e feet: $20.02/month <br />Volume Charge for Single Family Homes over 3500 square feet: $34.32/month <br />3. Rates, Fees and Other Charges Not Amended to Remain in Full Force and <br />Effect.
