RESOLUTION NO, 2013%j004 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF UTILITY SERVICES' SCHEDULE OF WATER AND SEWER RATES, <br />FEES AND OTHER CHARGES, BY AMENDING THE START DATE OF <br />VARIOUS INCREASES TO THE RECLAIMED WATER RATE <br />WHEREAS, section 102.10 of the Code of Indian River County provides that rates, fees and <br />charges adopted by the Board of County Commissioners may be adopted by resolution, to the extent <br />permitted by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board has previously adopted by resolution certain rates, fees and charges for <br />services provided by the Department of Utility Services, as set forth in the Schedule of Water and Sewer <br />Rates, Fees and Other Charges, as amended from time to time ("Schedule")* and <br />WHEREAS, the Board desires to further amend the schedule, as set forth herein <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT: <br />1. Findings. The above "whereas clauses: are adopted as the findings of the Board, <br />and are incorporated herein. <br />2. Amendment to Schedule of Rates, Fees and Charges. The Board hereby <br />amends the Department of Utility Services' Schedule of Water and Sewer Rates, Fees and Other <br />Charges, by establishing the following rates, fees and other charges <br />Reclaimed Water —Per 1,000 Gallons <br />Effective January 1, 2014 $0.74 <br />Effective January 13 2015 $0.81 <br />Effective January 1, 2016 $0.88 <br />3. Rates. Fees and Other Charges Not Amended to Remain in Full Force and <br />Effect.
