ccci_6 <br />kessler consulting inc. <br />innovative waste solutions <br />EXHIBIT A — WORK ORDER NO. 1, AMENDMENT 3 <br />AMENDED SCOPE OF WORK <br />FOR <br />SOLID WASTE PROCUREMENT SERVICES <br />BACKGROUND <br />Through Task 1 of Work Order No. 1, Kessler Consulting, Inc. (KCI) assisted Indian River County (County) <br />with procuring solid waste and recycling collection services. The procurement process was successfully <br />completed, a new collection franchise agreement was executed on April 21, 2015, and collection <br />services commenced on October 1, 2015. <br />The purpose of this amendment is to expand the level of effort and budget under Task 1 to enable KCI to <br />further assist the County with transition -related issues and activities for up to four more months. In <br />addition, the scope of work and budget for Task 8, Additional Technical Assistance, are being amended <br />to enable KCI to provide other solid waste assistance to the County as requested, including participation <br />in onsite meetings and field audits. <br />AMENDED SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Outlined below are three additional subtasks under Task 1 and the anticipated activities under each, as <br />well as Task 8, Additional Technical Assistance. <br />Task 1.7 — Performance Monitoring <br />• Review County and Franchisee complaint Togs. <br />• Identify issues and concerns. <br />• Assist in quantifying missed pickups, delays, and non -deliveries. <br />• Propose and facilitate resolution of performance issues. <br />• Participate in calls with County staff and Franchisee as needed. <br />Task 1.8 — Asset Management <br />• Review Franchisee -provided asset management lists. <br />• Identify issues related to residential, multi -family, and commercial asset lists and request <br />revisions from Franchisee. <br />• Verify residential and multi -family cart delivery locations and collections. <br />• Verify commercial container tags and locations. <br />Task 1.9 — Cart Swap Assistance <br />• Confirm cart swap requests and exchanges. <br />• Ensure radio frequency identification (RFID) data is revised in asset management lists. <br />14620 N Nebraska Ave , Bldg.
