JUNE 21, 1978 <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, MET IN REGULAR SESSION AT THE COURTHOUSE, VERO BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21, 1978, AT 8:30 O'CLOCK A.M. PRESENT <br />WERE WILLIAM C. WODTKE, JR., CHAIRMAN; ALMA LEE Loy, VICE CHAIRMAN; <br />WILLARD W. SIEBERT, JR.; EDWIN S. SCHMUCKER; AND R. DON DEESON. <br />ALSO PRESENT WERE JACK G. JENNINGS, COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR; L.S. <br />"TOMMY" THOMAS, INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR; GEORGE G. COLLINS, JR., <br />ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; KATHLEEN GARRETT <br />REPRESENTING FINANCE OFFICER BARTON; BALIFF DAN FLEISHMAN; AND <br />VIRGINIA HARGREAVES, DEPUTY CLERK. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE <br />FLAG, AND REVEREND J.C. GLENN, CHAPLIN OF THE INDIAN RIVER MEMORIAL <br />HOSPITAL, GAVE THE INVOCATION. <br />COMMISSIONER Loy INTRODUCED SPECIAL VISITORS, MATTHEW <br />FOGARTY AND WAYNE METZ, WHO HAVE BEEN SELECTED BY THE AMERICAN <br />LEGION POST TO ATTEND BOYS STATE IN TALLAHASSEE. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS OR <br />CORRECTIONS TO THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 7, 1978. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE REQUESTED THAT ON PAGE 19, SECOND PARAGRAPH, <br />THE WORDING BE CHANGED TO STATE "ALBRIGHT SHALL NOT STORE ANY <br />EQUIPMENT WITHOUT WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR." <br />THIS CORRECTION HAVING BEEN MADE, ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY <br />APPROVED THE MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF JUNE 7, 1978, AS <br />WRITTEN. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS <br />TO THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING of JUNE 16, 1978. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL <br />MEETING OF JUNE 16, 1978, AS WRITTEN, <br />JUN 211978 35 wJ112. <br />
