4 <br />KI <br />CITY <br />OF <br />FELLSMERE, <br />FLORIDA <br />R <br />E S <br />O L U T I <br />O N <br />WHEREAS, the auxiliary 35 kw generator owned <br />ti <br />by the Civil Defense of Indian River County and, by agreement <br />used by the City of Fellsmere is presently broken and not <br />In use; and <br />WHEREAS, the repair and maintenance of said <br />generator is in the best interest of the people of the <br />City, so as to provide an emergency source of electrical <br />power in the event of a disaster; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, on May 24, 1978, unanimously <br />authorized the County Administrator, through the Road and <br />Bridge Department, to spend up to $200.00 for repairs of <br />said generator; and, <br />WHEREAS., the.City was requested to accept <br />the responsibility for the maintenance -and upkeep of said <br />auxiliary generator <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY <br />OF FELLSMERE, FLORIDA, BY AND THROUGH ITS CITY COUNCIL <br />as follows: <br />1. The City of Fellsmere expresses its <br />appreciation to the Board of County Commissioners for their <br />cooperation and assistance in repairing this much needed <br />piece of equipment. <br />2. The City of Fellsmere accepts the <br />responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the auxiliary <br />generator for so long as it retains possession and -control <br />of -said generator under the present agreement with the <br />Indian River County Civil Defense.. <br />W"� <br />
