ASSISTANT PLANNER BERG INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE SUBJECT <br />PROPERTY IS IMMEDIATELY WEST OF THE CITY LIMITS OF FELLSMERE. HE <br />NOTED THAT DAVID MARSH IS PRESENTLY WORKING ON A WORK DRAFT OF <br />FELLMERE'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, AND HIS RECOMMENDATIONS ARE TOWARD <br />A RESIDENTIAL USE OF THE LAND. MR. BERG STATED THAT HE FEELS THIS <br />WOULD BE A PROPER CHANGE AS THEY DO NOT FEEL THERE SHOULD BE ANY <br />COMMERCIAL IN -THIS AREA BECAUSE THERE IS AMPLE COMMERCIAL IN THE <br />CITY OF FELLSMERE AND THE MASTER PLAN DOES NOT REFLECT IT. HE <br />CONTINUED THAT NONE OF THE PROPERTY ZONED COMMERCIAL IS BEING USED <br />AT THE PRESENT TIME FOR COMMERCIAL, AND THEY FEEL THAT AT SOMETIME <br />IN THE FUTURE THE REST OF THIS AREA SHOULD BE CONSIDERED FOR <br />REZONING. MR. BERG NOTED THAT AT ONE TIME COMMERCIAL DID ALLOW <br />TRAILERS AND HE BELIEVES THIS MAY BE WHY THE PROPERTY IS ZONED <br />COMMERCIAL. MR. BERG STATED THAT THIS IS IN KEEPING WITH THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, HE SEES NO CONFLICT WITH THE PROPOSED PLAN <br />FOR FELLSMERE, AND WOULD RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THE REQUESTED <br />REZONING TO AGRICULTURAL. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD. <br />THERE WERE NONE. <br />IT WAS NOTED THAT THE APPLICANT ACTUALLY REQUESTED <br />THAT ONLY A PORTION OF THE ADVERTISED PROPERTY BE REZONED, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED ORDINANCE 75-17 APPROVING <br />THE REZONING TO AGRICULTURAL REQUESTED BY MR.
