ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT CUSTOMER <br />SERVICE, INC., WHICH SERVICES LAURELWOOD SUBDIVISION, WISHES TO <br />ADVERTISE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING IN REGARD TO SEWER AND WATER HOOK-UP <br />CHARGES. <br />AFTER SOME DISCUSSION IT WAS DECIDED TO SCHEDULE THIS <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR 11;00 A.M. ON JULY 19, 1978. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NOTED THAT AT THE LAST MEETING ATTORNEY <br />COLLINS PRESENTED FOR REVIEW COPIES OF A REVISED CONTRACT FOR THE <br />-PURCHASE OF THE HOSPITAL, WHICH THE HOSPITAL TRUSTEES HAVE <br />TENTATIVELY APPROVED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT HE AND ATTORNEY WILLIAM STEWART <br />HAVE THOROUGHLY REVIEWED THIS CONTRACT, AND MEMBERS OF THE HOSPITAL <br />BOARD OF TRUSTEES ARE PRESENT AT THIS MEETING TO PARTICIPATE IN <br />THE FORMALITIES. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE INTRODUCED MEMBERS OF THE HOSPITAL BOARD- <br />DALE <br />OARD- <br />DALE SORENSON, CHAIRMAN, GRANT NEVILLE, ROBERT BALLARD, REESE <br />BRACKINS; THEIR ATTORNEY, WILLIAM STEWART, BOBBY MEADOWS, HOSPITAL <br />ADMINISTRATOR, AND TOM RYAN, ASSISTANT HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE COMMENTED THAT THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE <br />IS $290,000 AND NOT THE TOTAL $500,600 SET OUT IN THE CONTRACT BECAUSE <br />PART OF THIS FIGURE IS ASSUMPTION OF THE BOND ISSUE AND THE AUTHORITY <br />IS ALREADY THERE FOR THE BOND ISSUE TO BE PAID OFF. HE STATED THAT <br />HE FELT THE CONTRACT AS DRAWN IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE <br />HOSPITAL AND THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AND STRONGLY'RECOMMENDED <br />THAT THE BOARD CONSIDER APPROVING THE CONTRACT AS WRITTEN. <br />COMMISSIONER-LOY AGREED THAT WE HAVE BEEN PRESENTED WITH <br />A FINE CONTRACT, WHICH IS TO THE MUTUAL BENEFIT OF BOTH GOVERNMENTAL <br />BODIES AND THE TAXPAYERS OF THIS COUNTY. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THAT THE COUNTY ENTER INTO THE CONTRACT WHICH HAS BEEN <br />PRESENTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE INDIAN RIVER MEMORIAL <br />HOSPITAL TO FACILITATE THE SALE OF THE OLD HOSPITAL FACILITY TO <br />THE COUNTY, <br />8 ne <br />JUN 211978 BOOK Ju Wr <br />
