BUT ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THIS NAME ON HIS LIST <br />AND NO NOTICE HAS BEEN SENT. HE FELT THIS SHOULD.BE ADDED TO A LATER <br />LIST. <br />ADMINISTRATOR J ENNINGS STATED THAT HE WILL NEED THE LEGAL <br />DESCRIPTION OF EACH PIECE OF PROPERTY BEFORE HE CAN PROCEED. HE <br />NOTED THAT ON STRUCTURES HE HAS DONE BEFORE HE HAS FILED A LIEN <br />INCLUDING TIME AND LABOR CHARGES. <br />BUILDING DIRECTOR RYMER BROUGHT UP THE MATTER OF DEMOLITION <br />PERMITS. SHE STATED THAT THE BOARD COULD WAIVE THE FEE IF THEY <br />WISHED, BUT SHE FELT HER DEPARTMENT SHOULD WRITE THE PERMIT FOR <br />THEIR RECORDS. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS FELT WE SHOULD FOLLOW NORMAL <br />PROCEDURE AND INCLUDE THE PERMIT CHARGE IN THE LIEN AGAINST THE <br />PROPERTY. HE STATED THAT HE WILL HAVE THE ZONING DIRECTOR FILE FOR <br />THE PERMIT. THE BOARD AGREED. <br />ASSISTANT PLANNER BERG REVIEWED THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT <br />TO THE OFF-STREET PARKING SECTION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE. HE <br />EXPLAINED THAT THEY ORIGINALLY HAD PROPOSED TO REWRITE THIS SECTION <br />TO MAKE IT CLEARER AS TO WHAT IS REQUIRED AND TO ESTABLISH VARYING <br />NUMBERS OF REQUIRED PARKING SPACES FOR DIFFERENT USES. HE INFORMED <br />THE BOARD THAT THEY DID DRAFT AN ORDINANCE DEALING ENTIRELY WITH <br />OFF-STREET PARKING AND HAD A PUBLIC HEARING, BUT THE ZONING COMMISSION <br />FELT THE EXISTING ORDINANCE WAS SUFFICIENT AT THIS TIME. MR. BERG <br />FELT, HOWEVER, THAT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS IN THE EXISTING ORDINANCE <br />THAT DO NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND THAT LATER ON THEY COULD COME <br />BACK WITH ANOTHER MORE COMPREHENSIVE ORDINANCE. HE NOTED THAT <br />RIGHT NOW EACH OFF-STREET PARKING SPACE REQUIRES AN AREA OF 200 <br />SQ. FT. BUT IT DOESNIT OUTLINE OR DELINEATE THE AREA. THE <br />AMENDMENT WOULD REQUIRE THAT EACH SPACE MUST BE AT LEAST 10' X 20`, <br />MR. BERG STATED THAT THEY STILL ARE RECOMMENDING THAT OFF-STREET <br />PARKING BE PAVED, BUT FEEL THERE ARE SOME USES THAT WOULD NOT <br />NECESSARILY REQUIRE PAVED PARKING LOTS SUCH AS CHURCHES.
