RYALL FURTHER POINTED OUT THAT THE HOMES PRESENTLY IN THE <br />AREA DO NOT MEET THE FOOTAGE REQUIREMENTS OF R -IA. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NOTED THAT, IN OTHER WORDS, MRS, RYALL <br />IS NOT OBJECTING TO THE PROPERTY UNDER CONSIDERATION BEING <br />REZONED, BUT WOULD NOT WANT HERS CHANGED, AND MRS. RYALL AGREED. <br />MR. BERG NOTED THAT R-2 WOULD BE A RESIDENTIAL ZONING IN <br />KEEPING WITH THE CHARACTER OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND MRS. RYALL <br />COULD DO WHAT SHE WANTED TO DO UNDER THAT ZONING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER FELT THAT R -IA COULD CAUSE A PROBLEM <br />FOR ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS AND NOTED THAT R -2B ZONING WOULD ALLOW <br />EIGHT APARTMENTS TO AN ACRE. MR. BERG FELT THAT WOULD BE IN KEEPING <br />WITH THE MASTER PLAN. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT ALSO FELT THAT R -IA IS TOO RESTRICTIVE <br />FOR THIS AREA AND THAT MRS. RYALL HAS A VALID CONCERN, BUT POINTED OUT <br />THAT WE CAN'T ZONE DOWN FROM THE REQUEST THAT WAS ADVERTISED. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE FELT THAT SOME TYPE OF RESIDENTIAL ZONING <br />WOULD BE ACCEPTABLE, AND STATED THAT WHILE HE REALIZES MRS. RYALL'S <br />CONCERN IS THE AFFECT THE ZONING OF THIS PROPERTY WILL HAVE -ON HER <br />PROPERTY, HE COULD NOT REALLY SEE WHERE R -IA WOULD HAVE A DETRIMENTAL <br />AFFECT ON HER LAND, <br />MR- BERG SUGGESTED IN VIEW OF THE MASTER PLAN AND IN VIEW <br />OF THE OBJECTIONS, THAT THE OWNER BE GIVEN AN OPPORTUNITY TO <br />RESTUDY THE SITUATION. <br />` COMMISSIONER LOY FELT THIS SHOULD BE DISCUSSED WITH THE <br />DETTORE'S AGENT, BUT NOTED THAT WE DO NOT HAVE THE SIGNATURE PAGE <br />OF THE DOCUMENT LEGALLY APPOINTING RICHARD ALTMAN OF THE ED.SCHLITT <br />AGENCY REPRESENTATIVE FOR MR. AND MRS. DETTORE, <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE INSTRUCTED MRS. FORLANI TO LOCATE THE <br />ORIGINAL OF THIS INSTRUMENT IN CASE WE WISH TO CONTACT MR.
