What impressed us most was that no federal
funds were being used.for the food or administration
costs.
The members pledged support to the program, and I am
pleased to report that Vero Beach members of our
Association have already started providing food for
the genuinely needy of Indian River County.
We have been assured'by Mr. De Genero that as 'soon as
the Indian River County program is well under way he
will initiate a similar program in St. Lucie County.
Frank L.
