Indian River Shores will extend its best efforts toward the i <br />creation of a south county taxing district through a referendum <br />by the end of 1978. We urge professional planning, either by i <br />NFPA or ISO. <br />2. If a south county taxing district is created, Indian River Shores fire iE <br />operation will be integrated into a south county fire system and �! <br />funded by the county. <br />. s <br />3. If a south county taxing district is not created by the end of 1978, <br />the county will enter into an agreement with Indian River Shores, j <br />mutually satisfactory to both, whereby the county will contribute <br />a reasonable sunt to the operation expenses of the fire department <br />of Indian River Shores in return for the fire equipment being <br />available to county residents other than Indian River Shores and the <br />abrogation of the current contracts between the county and Indian i <br />River Shores, whereupon'Indian River Shores will withdraw its com- <br />plaint for declaratory judgement against the county. <br />4.
