ALSO THE PUMP GOING RIGHT <br />NOW NEEDS TO BE REWORKED. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />INVENTORY ALL THE ASSETS OF THE PEBBLE BAY SEWER TREATMENT PLANT; <br />MAKE A DETERMINATION OF WHICH ASSETS ARE MISSING; TAKE SUCH STEPS <br />AS ARE NECESSARY TO ASCERTAIN WHAT HAPPENED TO THE MISSING EQUIPMENT; <br />AND APPROVED THE FOLLOWING BUDGET AMENDMENT, AUTHORIZING THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $5,000 OUT OF THE GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCY <br />ACCOUNT TO MAKE THE IMMEDIATE MAINTENANCE CORRECTIONS NECESSARY <br />TO KEEP THE SYSTEM FUNCTIONING; <br />ACCOUNT TITLE ACCOUNT NO, INCREASE DECREASE <br />MAINT. BLDG. & GROUND 01-7101-338.00 $5,000 <br />RES. FOR CONTINGENCY 01-9990-701.00 $5,000 <br />ADNRINISTRATOR JENNINGS ASKED ABOUT THE OTHER SMALL SEWER <br />PLANTS IN THE SOUTH BEACH AREA, AND THE BOARD FELT THAT ANY PROBLEMS <br />WITH THESE COULD BE HANDLED AS THEY ARISE. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS SUGGESTED THAT THE BOARD GIVE SOME THOUGHT <br />TO THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING ACTION AGAINST THE DEVELOPER AND THE <br />BONDING COMPANY WITH REGARD TO THE DEFAULT ON SEMINOLE SHORES, BUT <br />NOTED THAT IF ANY ACTION WAS TAKEN, THE COUNTY WOULD HAVE TO PUT <br />IN THE IMPROVEMENTS. <br />FURTHER DISCUSSION ENSUED IN REGARD TO THE POSSIBILITY OF <br />OTHER EMERGENCY SITUATIONS ARISING WITH OTHER SEWER FRANCHISE <br />OPERATIONS. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ADMINISTRATOR, THE CHAIRMAN <br />AND THE ATTORNEY TO TAKE WHATEVER ACTION IS NECESSARY IN THE EVENT <br />ONE OF THE SEWER FRANCHISE OPERATIONS GETS INTO AN EMERGENCY SITUATION. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY NOTED THAT SAFETY CITY NEEDS SOME POSTS <br />PUT ALONG THEIR PAVED ROADWAY IN ORDER TO KEEP CARS OUT OF THE CENTER <br />57 <br />NOR 36 PAGF L <br />x= <br />h <br />e <br />
