u <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR REDICK STATED THAT ORANGE TERRACE <br />SUBDIVISION IS LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF 6TH AVENUE AND <br />14TH STREET AND CONTAINS APPROXIMATELY NINE ACRES WHICH THE OWNER <br />PROPOSES TO SUBDIVIDE INTO 12 -LOTS. HE CONTINUED THAT A NUMBER OF <br />CHANGES WERE MADE IN THE PLAT AND IT NOW MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF <br />THE ORDINANCE IN FULL. THE TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE IS SATISFIED <br />WITH THE CHANGES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE AND RECOMMENDS APPROVAL OF THE <br />SUBDIVISION. <br />FRANK ZORC, AGENT FOR ORANGE TERRACE SUBDIVISION, DISCUSSED <br />DEDICATION OF RIGHTS-OF-WAY ON THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE SUBDIVISION <br />AND ASKED IF IT WOULD BE ALL RIGHT TO DEDICATE THE RIGHT-OF-WAY ONLY <br />ON ONE SIDE AS IT IS POSSIBLE THESE ROADS MAY NEVER GO IN. <br />MR. REDICK NOTED THERE IS CURRENTLY A HALF STREET ON THE <br />SOUTH AND JUST A DITCH EXTENDING IT TO SIXTH AVENUE. THE HALF STREET <br />ON THE NORTH GOES INTO 14TH STREET AND DOES GO ALL THE WAY BACK INTO <br />THE AREA THAT IT IS ANTICIPATED WILL DEVELOP SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE, <br />WHICH IS WHY THEY FELT THE ROAD.SHOULD BE DEDICATED. <br />MR. 'ZORC STATED THAT HE WAS TOLD A 50' RIGHT-OF-WAY WAS <br />ACCEPTABLE FOR A COUNTY ROAD AND ASKED IF THE PLAT COULD BE AMENDED <br />TO SHOW 50' INSTEAD OF 60'. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS CONCURRED WITH CHANGING THE RIGHT- <br />OF-WAY FROM 60' TO 50', BUT STATED HE FIRMLY BELIEVED THAT THE <br />RIGHTS-OF-WAY ON BOTH THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE SUBDIVISION SHOULD <br />BE CONTINUED. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER ABSTAINED, THE BOARD GRANTED TENTATIVE <br />APPROVAL TO ORANGE TERRACE SUBDIVISION, AND AGREED THAT THE 60' <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE ENTRANCE ROAD BE CHANGED TO 50'; ALL ROAD <br />RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND UTILITIES TO BE AS LOCATED ON THE TENTATIVE PLAT, <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER RETURNED TO THE MEETING AT 9:15 <br />O`CLOCK A.M. <br />ROBERT LLOYD, ENGINEER, NEXT APPEARED BEFORE THE BOARD IN <br />REGARD TO VACATION OF PART OF A DIRT ROAD IN GOVERNMENT LOT 2 IN <br />THE VICINITY OF .JUNGLE TRAIL.
