ADDITIONS/DELETIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY <br />ITEMS <br /> <br />Chairman Lowther announced the addition of Item 5.E., a presentation by <br />Emergency Management Coordinator Nathan McCollum concerning Tropical Storm Wilma (later <br />Hurricane Wilma). <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Neuberger, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bowden, the Board unanimously added <br />the above item to the agenda. <br /> <br />5.A. PROCLAMATION – PRESENTATION IN RECOGNITION <br />AND SUPPORT OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEARNING <br />CENTER - UPCLOSE & ECOLOGICAL PROGRAM <br />This proclamation was read by Commissioner Wheeler and presented to Executive <br />Holly Dill <br />Director of the ELC who accepted with thanks. She introduced the board members <br />accompanying her as follows: Clem Schaub, Pat Fava, Chuck Pollard, and Todd Fennell. <br />Todd Fennell <br />expressed appreciation for the Board’s past support and looked <br />th <br />forward to the event on October 28 when he hoped they would have a fun learning experience. <br /> <br />5.B. PROCLAMATION – PRESENTATION DESIGNATING APRIL <br />7 AND 8, 2006 AS RELAY FOR LIFE DAYS <br /> <br />Vice Chairman Neuberger read the proclamation that was accepted with thanks by <br />Leila Shear <br />, a 33-year cancer survivor, on behalf of the local American Cancer Society and the <br />October 18, 2005 2 <br /> <br />
