THE CHAIRMAN NEXT BROUGHT UP THE MATTER OF A RESOLUTION <br />NEEDED BY THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND SHELTERED WORKSHOP, WHICH RAN <br />INTO A PROBLEM WITH MEETING ITS DEADLINE FOR GRANT APPLICATION, HE <br />NOTED THAT WE HAVE APPROVED $8,000 IN THE BUDGET FOR THEM SO THEY <br />PROCEEDED TO CONTACT THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS ABOUT THE <br />SITUATION, WHO REQUESTED THAT, IN ANTICIPATION OF APPROVAL, A COPY <br />OF THE GRANT BE SENT THEM WITH A COVERING '-ETTER ADVISING THAT THIS <br />WOULD BE DISCUSSED AT THE NEXT REGULAR BOARD MEETING OF SEPTEMBER <br />6TH AND THEN THE SIGNED COPIES WOULD BE FORWARDED TO THEM, <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS STATED THAT THE <br />SHELTERED WORKSHOP DOES A VERY FINE JOB WITH THEIR THERAPY WORK, BUT <br />IS HAVING CONSISTENT PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PAPERWORK, AND HE BELIEVES <br />THEY ARE HIRING SOMEONE TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 75-58 <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS IN REGARD TO A GRANT FOR THE VOCATIONAL TRAINING <br />AND SHELTERED WORKSHOP, <br />17 <br />
