<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />at development approval, SECONDED by Chairman <br />Ginn for discussion. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Macht questioned whether this property had ever been considered for <br />purchase by the Land Acquisition Advisory Committee, and Director Keating did not believe it <br />had ever been considered. <br />Commissioner Macht commented that it is easier to maintain the health of scrub lands with <br />multi-family, rather than single-family, housing because you can concentrate more green space. <br /> <br /> After further discussion, Director Keating stated that he understood the Board to be <br />directing staff to bring an LDR amendment to nail a little tighter the upland set-aside requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />motion passed by a 4-1 vote (Commissioner Neuberger <br />opposed). The Board adopted Ordinance 2004-032 <br />amending the Zoning Ordinance and the accompanying <br />th <br />Zoning Map for ±40.19 acres located at 99 Street and <br />approximately 1950 feet west of US#1, from RMH-8, <br />Residential Mobile Home (up to 8 units/acre) to RM-6, <br />Multiple-Family Residential District (up to 6 units/acre) <br />(Indian River Investment of Central Florida). <br />OCTOBER 19, 2004 13 <br /> <br />
