<br /> October 22, 2002 <br /> <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL BOARD <br /> The Board of Commissioners of the Environmental Control Board met at the County <br />th <br />Commission Chambers, 1840 25 Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, October 22, 2002, at <br />9:55 a.m. Present were Ruth M. Stanbridge, Chairman; John W. Tippin, Vice Chairman; and <br />Commissioners Fran B. Adams and Caroline D. Ginn. Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht was <br />absent on vacation. Also present were James Chandler, County Administrator; Paul G. Bangel, <br />County Attorney; and Patricia “PJ” Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br /> <br /> The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />14.C.1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – MINUTES OF AUGUST 20, 2002 <br /> <br /> The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the <br />Regular Meeting of August 20, 2002. There were none. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Commissioner <br />Macht absent) unanimously approved the Minutes of the Meeting <br />of August 20, 2002, as written. <br /> <br />14.C.2. QUARTERLY REPORT – THIRD QUARTER, 2002 <br /> The Board reviewed Memoranda of October 9, 2002 and September 25, 2002: <br />(CLERK’S NOTE: STAFF’S MEMORANDUM OF SEPTEMBER 25, 2002 REFERS TO THE <br />“SECOND” QUARTER REPORT IN ERROR. ALSO, ITEM 14.
