7.M. APPROVAL OF BID AWARD AND SAMPLE AGREEMENT FOR IRC BID <br /># 2007068 STATIONARY GENERATORS FOR (5) HIGH FLOW LIFT <br />STATIONS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS, UTILITIES DEPARTMENT <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chair Bowden, the Board unanimously approved that <br />the Bid be awarded to Seabreeze Electric, LLC., as the <br />lowest most responsive and responsible bidder meeting the <br />specifications as set forth in the Invitation to Bid. The <br />Board also approved the sample Agreement, and authorized <br />the Chairman to execute said Agreement when required <br />performance and payment bonds have been submitted <br />along with appropriate certificate of insurance, and the <br />County Attorney has approved the agreement as to form <br />and legal sufficiency, all as recommended in the <br />memorandum of October 16, 2007. <br />7.N. APPROVAL OF STATE AND FEDERALLY FUNDED SUBGRANT <br />AGREEMENT — CONTRACT NUMBER 08 -BG -24-10-40-01-085 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chair Bowden, the Board unanimously approved the <br />FY 07/08 Emergency Management Preparedness and <br />Assistance (EMPA) portion of the State Funded Subgrant <br />Agreement, with funds to be allocated as follows: <br />• Continued funding of the salaries and benefits <br />existing Emergency Management Planner <br />Position and allow improvements to the newly <br />completed Indian River County Emergency <br />9 <br />October 23, 2007 <br />
