<br />Discussion ensued by the Board regarding additional changes to be included in the revised <br />Policy. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Lowther, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to approve the applicant’s <br />revised Policy 5.8 with the following: (1) omitting 3.5 acres in <br />paragraph 2, line 2; (2) changing the word “held” to “created” in <br />paragraph 3, line 4; and (3) adding “with infill prohibited” to <br />paragraph 3, line 4. <br /> <br /> The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Amended <br />Resolution <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved <br />2006-169 <br />approvingthe transmittal of a proposed Indian River <br />County Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the text of the Future <br />Land Use Element to the State of Florida Department of <br />Community Affairs. <br /> <br />The Board also approved to include the following changes to <br />Policy 5.8: the omission of 3.5 acres in paragraph 2, line 2; <br />amending paragraph 3, line 4 to read as follows: easement(s), to be <br />created in Deed Restrictions with (residential) infill prohibited. <br /> <br />Commissioner Bowden stated for the record that the Board needed to work out the <br />following concerns in the LDRs: golf courses, water, and drought. <br /> <br />9.A.8.
