BID #2006006 ANNUAL BID FOR LIMEROCK AND/OR COQUINA ROCK — <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT/ROAD AND BRIDGE DIVISION — STEWART MINING <br />INDUSTRIES, INC. — DICKERSON FLORIDA, INC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded <br />Bid 42006006 Items 41 through 4 to Stewart Mining <br />Industries, Inc. as the lowest and lost responsive bidder <br />meeting the specifications as set forth in the Invitation to <br />Bid; Awarded Item 45 to multiple vendors, Stewart Mining <br />Industries, Inc. and Dickerson Florida, Inc. as the bidders <br />meeting the specifications as set forth in the Invitation to <br />Bid; authorized the Purchasing Manager to issue blanket <br />purchase orders and/or individual job purchase orders for <br />the period of October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 <br />with recommended vendors; and authorized the Purchasing <br />Manager to renew this bid for two (2) additional one (1) <br />year periods subject to satisfactory performance, zero cost <br />increase, vendor acceptance and the determination that <br />renewal of this annual contract is in the best interest of the <br />County, as recommended in the memorandum of <br />September 23, 2005. <br />October 4, 2005 20 <br />
