Approval of Emergency Operations Center Grant Funding State -Funded Sub -grant Agreement Number 06CP-4Z-10-40-01 -(me-morandum -dated -September _22, 2005) _____________________________________510-545__ Approved acceptance of the ,State -Funded Vub-grant Agreement ftom the Department of Community Affairs for $2.5 million to assist with the construction of the Emergency Operations Center (EOE) and authorized the Chairman to execute the agreement. The facility must be designed and constructed to withstand 200 iriph wind gusts, resist penetration by windborne debris and have a finish floor exceeding the 500 -year flood elevation. The EOE' must also be designedfor a minimum of 72 hours of continuous operation. The design firm of Donadio and Associates are aware of the grant requirements. 2. Acceptance of 2005/2006 Emergency Management Federally Funded Homeland Security Subgrant Agreement Number 06 -DS -3W-10-40-01 -(memorandum -dated -September _26 2005) -------------------------------------- 546-586 Approved acceptance of the 200512006 Emergency Management Federally Funded Homeland ,Vecunity ,Vub-grant agreement in the amount of $38,523.00 and authorized the Chairman to execute the agreement between Indian River County Emergency Management and the Florida Department of Community Affairs/Division of Emergency Management. it.
