October 6, 2008 <br />SPECIAL CALL MEETING OF THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATIONS <br />ON MINING REGULATIONS & GROUNDWATER ISSUES <br />OCTOBER 6, 2008 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in a <br />Special Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1801 27th St., Vero Beach, Florida, on <br />Monday, October 6, 2008, to discuss the Planning & Zoning Commission's recommendations on <br />mining regulations and groundwater issues. Present were Chairman Sandra L. Bowden, Vice <br />Chairman Wesley S. Davis, Commissioners Joseph E. Flescher, Peter D. O'Bryan, and Gary C. <br />Wheeler. Also present were County Administrator Joseph A. Baird, County Attorney William <br />G. Collins II, and Deputy Clerk Maureen Gelfo. <br />1.
