APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE CITY OF SEBASTIAN <br />TAX ABATEMENT INITIATIVE <br />Commissioner O'Bryan highlighted the County's support for this item, and encouraged <br />Sebastian residents to vote for the initiative. He felt it was a great economic tool to help the City <br />of Sebastian, and hoped it would be approved countywide in the November 2010 General <br />Election. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br />approved Resolution 2009-159, supporting the City of <br />Sebastian's Tax Abatement Initiative. <br />8.F. AUTHORIZATION TO ATTEND FGFOA 2009 SCHOOL OF GOVERNMENTAL <br />FINANCE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Solari, the Board unanimously <br />authorized the County Administrator to attend the <br />Intermediate/Advanced portion of the 2009 FGFOA <br />School of Governmental Finance in St. Petersburg, <br />Florida, November 18 to November 20, 2009, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of September 21, 2009. <br />6 <br />October 6, 2009 <br />
