13.E.2. COMMISSIONER GARY C. WHEELER - DISCUSS <br />INCREASING ROAD IMPACT FEES <br />Commissioner Wheeler asked the Board to set a public hearing date to revisit the <br />15% discount given on traffic impact fees. He commented on the loss of revenue we could have <br />collected if the 15% discount had not been allowed and extended the dollars to over $900,000 over <br />a 3 -year period. <br />Commissioner Neuberger disagreed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Bowden, by a 4-1 vote (Commissioner Neuberger <br />opposed), the Board authorized for the County Attorney to <br />schedule and advertise a public hearing to readdress road <br />impact fees and the 15% discount. <br />14. EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />A.1. TRAINING PARTNERSHIP A GREEMENT BETWEEN INDIAN RIVER <br />COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />The Chairman announced that immediately upon adjournment, the Board would <br />reconvene as the Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District.
