The Chairman asked MPO Staff Director, Phillip Matson, to provide an update on <br />the recent study that was conducted. <br />Director Matson informed the Commission that staff successfully applied for a grant <br />from the Department of Transportation (DOT), with 50% of the operating money to be supplied by <br />DOT to expand the hours of operation to include night service on selective routes and that the <br />program would be launched on a selective basis. <br /> <br />There were no additional speakers and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 2006-004 authorizing the filing of a FY 2005-06 <br />Grant application for 49 USC CH. 53, Section 5307 Mass <br />Transit Capital and Operating Assistance. <br /> <br />9.A.2.
