RN.2005-007–S-FLCT <br />ESOLUTION O INGLEAMILY OT ANOPY REE <br />LIF–EDM14,2005 <br />ANDSCAPE NSPECTION EE FFECTIVE ATE ARCH <br /> <br />Commissioner Bowden understood the tree and landscaping ordinance was going to <br />be reconsidered and this resolution is tied to implementation of that ordinance. <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating explained that this resolution <br />implements fees related to landscaping rules in Ordinance 2004-041 adopted December 7, 2004. <br />The fees will cover additional staff necessary to enforce new regulations. <br />Commissioner Wheeler supported hiring an additional code enforcement officer to <br />help with the additional regulations. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Bowden, <br />SECONDED BY Commissioner Wheeler for discussion. <br /> <br />Discussion followed regarding the reconsideration of the tree ordinance. They <br />anticipated that it would be brought back the first meeting in February. <br /> <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously. (The Board adopted Resolution No. <br />2005-007 establishing a landscape inspection fee relating to <br />canopy tree requirements on single-family lots in <br />conjunction with home construction, and providing an <br />effective date (March 14, 2005). <br /> <br />January 18, 2005 9 <br /> <br />
