(A copy is on file with the backup in the Office <br />of the Clerk to the Board.) He reviewed the existing land uses of surrounding properties and <br />advised that staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the <br />rezoning. <br />Director Keating responded to questions from Commissioners. <br />Commissioner Bowden stated for the record that, because of citrus canker findings <br />in Indian River and St. Lucie Counties and the proximity of the subject property to agricultural <br />parcels, she believed the requested zoning is not compatible. <br />Commissioner Wheeler questioned traffic impact on SR-60 intersections and <br />Director Keating explained the impact fees, vesting and other particulars in the 1990 LDRs. <br />Commissioner Wheeler expressed his preference for interconnectivity between developments. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />January 18, 2005 11 <br /> <br />
