<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board
<br />of County Commissioners of Indian River
<br />County, Florida, will receive bids to the hour of
<br />9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 1978, for sale
<br />to the said County of the following materials:
<br />Asphaltic Concrete, hauling and spreading
<br />Asphaltic Concrete; Creosote Lumber; Lime
<br />Rock; Corrugated Metal Pipe; Aluminum
<br />pipe; Gasoline and Diesel Fuel; Ready mix
<br />Concrete; road base construction for Lime
<br />Rock; Soil cement and mixed -in-place; Liquid
<br />Asphalt= Traffic and Street Signs.
<br />Instructions to bidders, specifications and
<br />special bidding blanks for signs are available
<br />at the Office of the County Administrator,
<br />Room 115, County' Court House or will be
<br />mailed on request. Bids for materials other
<br />than signs should be submitted an your let-
<br />terhead or bidding forms.
<br />The Board of County Commissioners
<br />reserves the right to reject any or all bids and
<br />to make awards in such manner as they con-
<br />sider to be in the best interests of Indian River
<br />County.
<br />Bids for each item shall be in separate en-
<br />velopes securely sealed and plainly marked on
<br />the outside to show the material being bid on,
<br />and the item number as shown in the
<br />specifications and the date and time of the
<br />opening. The bids may be mailed or delivered
<br />to the Office of the County Administrator,
<br />Room 11S, County Court House, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida, 32960. Proposals received offer 9:30
<br />a.m. October 18, 1978, will be returned
<br />unopened.

<br />SUMMARY OF ANNUAL MATERIALS BIDS IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF
<br />THE MINUTES. CHEVRON OF MIAMI SUBMITTED A BID ON ITEM #8 OF .4313
<br />ON SUPREME OAS AND .4410 ON DIESEL #2, BUT A PHONE MESSAGE WAS RECEIVED
<br />CHANGING THOSE PRICES. THE ATTORNEY WILL MAKE A RULING ON THE HANDLING
<br />OF THIS BID, AND IT WILL PROBABLY BE REJECTED.
