THE REVEREND NOTED <br />THAT WITH THE PROPOSED APARTMENTS, THEY ARE TRYING TO BETTER THE LIVING <br />CONDITIONS OF'SENIOR CITIZENS AND ARE ASKING THE COUNTY IN GOOD FAITH <br />TO THINK ABOUT SELLING OR MAKING SOME DISPOSITION OF THIS LAND FOR THIS <br />�01I1011L* <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS FELT THE LAND REFERRED TO IS PART OF THE <br />VACANT LAND NORTH OF THE SPILLWAY THAT THE COUNTY PURCHASED AS PART OF <br />THE ARRANGEMENT WITH THE HOSPITAL BOARD. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF IT .IS THE INTENTION OF THE CHURCH TO <br />BUILD THESE UNITS. <br />REVEREND TAYLOR STATED THAT IT WILL BE DONE UNDER FEDERAL MONEY <br />FOR SENIOR CITIZENS TO LIVE THERE WITH RENT SUBSIDIES. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED ABOUT FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS, AND REVEREND <br />TAYLOR STATED THAT THE SENIOR CITIZENS MUST BE EITHER DISABLED OR LOW <br />INCOME AND OVER 62 YEARS OF AGE, <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF THE -CHURCH, IN ORDER TO GET THE <br />FEDERAL MONEY, HAS TO HAVE TITLE TO THE LAND, AND THE REVEREND STATED <br />THEY WOULD JUST LIKE TO BUY THE LAND AND PROCEED FROM THERE. <br />. COMMISSIONER SIEBERT POINTED OUT THAT THE COUNTY LEASED LAND <br />TO ST. FRANCIS MANOR FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND FELT THEY SHOULD CHECK INTO <br />THAT ALTERNATIVE. <br />REVEREND TAYLOR STATED THAT THEY DID NOT GO BACK TO PRIVATE <br />ENTERPRISE, WHICH IS NOT UNDER FEDERAL REGULATIONS, AND INFORMED THE <br />BOARD THAT HE HAS CHECKED WITH WASHINGTON, .JACKSONVILLE AND ATLANTA. <br />BOOK 37 PAGE. �1 <br />
