r <br />THE HOSPITAL COMPLEX AND AFTER THEY EVALUATE THE NEEDS OF THE GOVERN- <br />MENTAL OFFICES FOR THE NEXT 15-20 YEARS, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THERE MAY <br />BE CERTAIN PROPERTIES THAT COULD BE TRANSFERRED, <br />REVEREND TAYLOR NOTED THAT THIS COUNTY IS ASKINq FOR A FEDERAL <br />GRANT, AND STATED THEY WOULD NOT WANT TO THROW A MONKEY WRENCH INTO THIS. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF THAT WAS A THREAT, AND THE REVEREND <br />STATED THAT IT WASNIT, BUT THAT HE HAS BEEN TO WASHINGTON AND KNOWS <br />WHAT IS GOING ON. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY REITERATED THAT,IN ALL GOOD FAITH, THIS BOARD <br />CANNOT AT THIS MOMENT INDICATE TO ANYONE HOW WE ARE GOING TO DISPOSE <br />OF THIS LAND BECAUSE WE NEED TO MAKE OUR PLANS. <br />THE REVEREND AGAIN BROUGHT UP A HOUSING AUTHORITY, AND COM- <br />MISSIONER SIEBERT INVITED HIM TO ATTEND THE NEXT MEETING OF THE HOUSING <br />STUDY COMMITTEE. <br />RUDY HUBBARD CAME BEFORE THE BOARD IN REGARD TO LEASE OF <br />COUNTY=OWNED PROPERTY BY WGYL FOR A RADIO TOWER AND STATED THAT HE HAS <br />SECURED AN APPRAISAL OF THE PROPERTY SINCE HE LAST CAME BEFORE THE BOARD. <br />HE CONTINUED THAT HE HAS ATTACHED AN AMENDMENT TO HIS PROPOSAL AND <br />AGREED TO UP THE LEASE OFFER SLIGHTLY AFTER THE FIRST TEN YEAR PERIOD. <br />COMMISSIONER $IEBERT NOTED THAT THE APPRAISAL INDICATES A <br />FAIR MARKET VALUE OF $1,500 PER ACRE, AND IT WAS NOTED THAT MR. HUBBARD <br />ORIGINALLY HAD FIGURED IT AT $3,000 AN ACRE. <br />MR. HUBBARD STATED THAT THEY ORIGINALLY CALCULATED ON A 10 <br />YEAR PERIOD AND DOUBLED THE FIGURES AND HE, THEREFORE, GAVE THE BOARD <br />THE WRONG FIGURES PREVIOUSLY. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED POSSIBLE RESTRICTIONS FOR A TOWER <br />IN A RESIDENTIAL ZONE, -NOTING THAT THERE ARE DEFINITELY RESTRICTED USES. <br />HE FELT MR. HUBBARD WOULD BE WELL ADVISED TO GO TO THE VARIANCE BOARD <br />BEFORE HE SPENT ANY MONEY DEVELOPING. <br />COMMISSIONER $IEBERT STATED THAT THE LEASE WOULD BE SATISFACTORY <br />TO HIM, BUT.FOR MR. HUBBARD'S PROTECTION, HE FELT IT SHOULD BE'MADE <br />CONTINGENT ON GETTING A VARIANCE SO MR. HUBBARD WOULD NOT BE STUCK WITH <br />A LEASE HE CANNOT USE. COMMISSIONER LOY AGREED. <br />MR, HUBBARD NOTED THAT THERE IS SOME.
