MOTION FAILED. <br />Commissioner Flescher felt $130,000.00 was a lot of money and he wanted more <br />answers before proceeding. <br />Vice Chair Bowden did not wish to terminate the contract. <br />Discussion continued among the Commissioners and Commissioner Davis <br />expressed he did not want to take further action without a reason. The Board questioned Mrs. <br />Massung's termination after she just received a strong vote of confidence at a prior meeting. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher, not to take action <br />on this item. <br />Discussion continued as to why this was taking place. <br />Attorney Petersen asked the Board how much detail the Board wanted to take a <br />political action. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion <br />carried unanimously. The Board approved to take no action <br />on this item. <br />Attorney Petersen announced that one of the reasons that Mrs. Massung wanted to <br />terminate the contract was due to pressure from one or more commissioners.
