THE ADMINISTRATOR NOTED THAT THE BOARD HAS THE OPTION OF ADDING THIS <br />TO THE PRESENT CONTRACT OR DOING IT UNDER A SEPARATE CONTRACT. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS STATED THAT THIS IS APPROXIMATELY A $39,099 <br />CONTRACT AND ASKED WHO IS GOING TO PICK UP THE COST, <br />4 CHAIRMAN WODTKE INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAD TALKED WITH <br />SUPERINTENDENT MCCLURE ABOUT THIS MATTER AND HE BELIEVES THE SC400L <br />IS WITHIN THE FRANCHISE AREA. HE NOTED TfiAT THEY WANT THE WATER AS <br />SOON AS POSSIBLE AND HAVE TO MAKE SOME DECISION ON WELLS. THE CHAIRMAN <br />STATED THAT THE SUPERINTENDENT INDICATED THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO RUN <br />THE LINE UP TO 1ORTH GIFFORD ROAD IF WATER WAS AVAILABLE AT THAT POINT. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE CONTINUED THAT HE DID NOT KNOW HOW MUCH OF A CRISIS <br />SITUATION THIS IS. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT FELT REGARDLESS OF THE URGENCY OF THEIR <br />NEEDS,.SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE TO GET THIS INCLUDED. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS SUGGESTED THAT THE ENGINEER DO AH <br />EVALUATION OF THE SITUATION AND THE COSTS INVOLVED AND SEND A COPY <br />TO THE SCHOOL BOARD, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT FELT WE MUST DECIDE NOW WHETHER WE WANT TO <br />PROCEED AND ON WHAT BASIS BECAUSE THIS SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN T,IE <br />SPECIFICATIONS THAT ARE TO BE BID ON. . <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS AGREED, NOTING THAT SIR, VOTAPKA'S <br />LETTER PRESENTS SEVERAL WAYS THIS CAN BE HANDLED, WHICH WOULD INDICATE <br />THAT THIS IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSED EXTENSION, <br />COMMISSIONER LOY FELT IF THIS IS NOT OF AN EMERGENCY NATURE <br />AND WON'T BE BEFORE WE CAN ACTUALLY GET THERE WITH SOME OF OUR PLANS, <br />THAT IT WOULD PUT A DIFFERENT LIGHT ON THE SITUATION. <br />CHAIRMAN %'JODTKE STATED THAT HE WILL GET TOGETHER WITH THE <br />SCHOOL BOARD, TAKE THEM THIS PRELIMINARY REPORT, AND DETERMINE HOW <br />SEVERE AN EMERGENCY THEY HAVE. IF THE DETERMINATION IS THAT IT IS A <br />SEVERE EMERGENCY, POSSIBLY !•IE CAN HAVE AUTHORIZATION FOR THE CONSULTANTS <br />TO ADVISE THE BIDDERS TO INCLUDE THIS AS AN ALTERNATE BID. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS NEXT DISCUSSED REQUEST RECEIVED FROM <br />DEVELOPER SIGURD HERSLOFF, .JR., FOR PERMISSION TO TIE THE WASTE WATER <br />FROM HIS PROJECT, INDIAN SUMMER, INTO THE COUNTY WASTE WATER SYSTEM <br />29 <br />Nov I im 3; <br />
