WITH THE SAME MEMBERS PRESENT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LOY, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCHMUCKER, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED RETRO -ACTIVE APPROVAL OF <br />OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR TO MEET WITH THE nEP IN <br />ORLANDO ON OCTOBER 25, 1973, AND FURTHER APPROVED OUT -OF -COUNTY TRAVEL <br />FOR THE ADMINISTRATOR TO MEET WITH THE DER IN ORLANDO ON ]OVEMBER 3, <br />1978. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT DRIVE:^lAYS, <br />INCORPORATED HAS REn UESTED A 17 DAY EXTENSION ON THEIR CONTRACT TIME <br />BECAUSE OF A DELAY DUE TO PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY OF 11TATER METERS, <br />WHICH IS NOT THEIR FAULT. HE STATED THAT 9R. BEINDORF HAS APPROVED <br />THIS, AND, THEY RECOMMEND THE EXTENSION REQUESTED, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE DOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED AN ADDITIONAL 19 -DAY EXTENSION <br />ON THE CONTRACT WITH DRIVEWAYS, INCORPORATED RE THE GIFFORD 1'41ATER <br />SYSTEM RENOVATION PROJECT. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS DISCUSSED WITH THE BOARD THE FINAL DRAFT OF <br />rdE I'iATER AND SEWER ORDINANCE PROMULGATING THE RATES TO BE CHARGED. HE <br />STATED THAT THIS ORDINANCE WAS ADVERTISED AND THE PUT3LIC HEARING WAS <br />HELD, AND THE BOARD MADE SOME CHANGES AT THE PUBLIC HEARI14G WHICH ARE <br />NOW INCORPORATED IN THIS ORDINANCE. THE BOARD, AT THE PUBLIC HEARING, <br />INDICATED THAT THE ORDINANCE WOULD NOT BE EFFECTIVE UNTIL SUCH TIME <br />AS THE WATER WAS SUPPLIED. THE -ATTORNEY INFORMED THE 'ROARD THAT THE <br />WATER RATE IS THE SAME AS REFLECTED IN THE BOND VALIDATION SUIT. THE <br />COMMERCIAL SEWER RATE HAS BEEN EXPANDED TO BETTER MEET THE FORECASTED <br />NEEDS OF THE AREA, <br />COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER NOTED THAT IN SECTIONS 8 AND 12 ON <br />PAGE 4, IT IS -REQUIRED TO CONNECT TO THE FORCE MAIN, AND HE FELT THIS <br />WOULD MORE PROPERLY BE THE GRAVITY SEWER LINE. !iE T`-IEN EXPLAINED THE <br />TECHNICAL PROBLEMS INVOLVED IN CONNECTING TO A FORCE MAIN. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE SUGGESTED THAT THIS CHANGE COULD BE MADE BY <br />THE ATTORNEY SUBJECT TO DISCUSSION WITH ENGINEER BEINDORF. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS NOTED THAT VERY SHORTLY THE COUNTY IS GOING <br />TO HAVE TO COME UP WITH AN OVERALL APPROACH FOR AN ORDINANCE THAT WILL <br />31 <br />1,87NOV 1 1978 <br />I <br />
