Wodtke Jr., Chairman <br />Oct. 11, 1978. <br />BUILDING DIRECTOR ESTHER RYMER APPEARED BEFORE THE BOARD TO <br />EXPLAIN THE REASON FOR.THE AMENDMENT. SHE COMMENTED THAT ORDINANCE 77-13 <br />TOOK CARE OF LICENSING THE PLUMBING TRADE. ATTORNEY COLLINS NOTED THAT <br />HE WAS ADVERTISING A HEARING FOR THE PLUMBING TRADE AND HAD APPARENTLY <br />MISUNDERSTOOD MRS. RYMER'S REQUEST. SHE EXPLAINED THAT THE PLUMBING <br />TRADE WAS TAKEN CARE OF IN 1977, AND SHE HAD ONLY MENTIONED IT SO THAT <br />THE.SAME TERMINOLOGY WOULD BE USED FOR THE ELECTRICAL TRADE, <br />MRS. RYMER THEN ASKED THE ATTORNEY ABOUT THE.PROPER STATUTE <br />TO REFER TO FOR THE ELECTRICAL TRADE AND ASKED IF.STATUTE 468 WOULD <br />APPLY TO ALL CONTRACTING BUSINESSES. <br />23 <br />
