Planning Director Stan Boling reviewed the memorandum using graphics from the <br />backup (pages 142 and 143) displayed on the overhead. Staff recommended that the County <br />abandon its rights to the subject right-of-way and authorize the Chairman to execute the proposed <br />resolution with the condition that the entire right-of-way be retained as a drainage and utility <br />easement. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Bill Glynn <br />, 12802 Barefoot Place, urged the Board’s approval. <br /> <br />There were no additional speakers and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowden, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 2005-182 providing for the closing, <br />abandonment, vacation and discontinuance of a portion of <br />Coco Plum Lane lying west of Frangipani Drive, reserving <br />an easement over the entire right-of-way, said land lying in <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br /> <br />9.A.2.
