<br />Bob Johnson <br />, Coral Wind Subdivision, recommended the Board approve this with <br />a caveat that it will not preclude the construction of the Oslo Boat ramp. <br />Commissioner Davis responded it is going to be in the County name and they do not <br />need approval from another agency. <br /> <br />Dr. Richard Baker, <br /> Audubon Society,is looking forward to putting trails in for <br />watching lots of birds. That will be a real asset for the Community. <br /> <br />After a brief discussion Roland DeBlois stated this is part of the Blue Way Program. <br />The essential cost would be State funded and he is confident they will get the FCT grant. <br />There were no additional speakers and the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously approved <br />exercising the Diamond Tract – ORCA Southsites <br />assignment and amendment of option contract, authorizing <br />and directing staff to close the purchase and apply for a <br />Florida Communities Trust 50% cost-share reimbursement <br />grant under the next FCT grant cycle, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of November 7, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />9.A.3.
