e <br />r <br />f' o <br />Geraghty & Miller, Inc. <br />SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />October 1978 <br />The charges for services provided by Geraghty & Miller, <br />Inc., consist of: (1) an hourly fee for any professional <br />staff member actively working on a project, (2) reimbursement <br />of expenses, and (3) reimbursement of sub -contractor's and <br />other special costs. Bills covering the hourly charges and <br />expenses will be submitted for payment on a calendar month <br />basis, unless some other arrangement has been agreed upon. <br />Hourly fees are billed at the staff member's actual tech- <br />nical payroll cost multiplied by a factor of 2.5. The techni- <br />cal payroll cost includes the staff member's basic salary and <br />fringe benefits. The firm's cost multiplier covers general <br />and administrative costs and profit. <br />Fee ranges for the firm's pe3qsonnel classifications are <br />indicated below. These charges are based on October 1978 <br />technical payroll costs, and are subject to revision. <br />Range <br />Principal $75.00 <br />Senior Scientist 40.00 to $65.00 <br />Senior Hydrogeologist 35.00 to 40.00 <br />Hydrogeologist 17.00 to 35.00 <br />Draftsman, Technician, and Research <br />Assistant 15•.00 to 25.00 <br />Reimbursable expenses are billed at.cost. These include <br />travel costs, living expenses for personnel required to.be <br />away from the home office in connection with the work, rental <br />cars, long distance telephone calls, telegrams and cables, <br />copies, prints or reports, shipping costs for samples and other <br />materials, expendable supplies purchased specifically for a <br />project, and premiums for insurance in addition to normal cover- <br />age when required. Mileage for use of personal cars is charged <br />at 20 cents per mile. <br />Subcontractor charges, purchase or rental costs.for special <br />equipment necessary for job execution, and any other costs not <br />associated with normal office overhead are billed at cost plus <br />a handling charge of 10 percent. <br />DEC 6 1978 <br />:( if,A XF 1U4 <br />
