200,000 gallons for each day. In the event that the County's <br />system takes more than 200,000 gallons of water during any <br />day, it shall pay a charge of one dollar and forty cents ($1.40) <br />for each 1,000 gallons over that day's 200,000 gallons. A day <br />shall be from noon to noon. There shall be no averaging or <br />off -sets. Each day shall be a separate and distinct period of <br />time for rate calculations. County shall read City's interface <br />meter(s) at noon of each day and shall deliver the meter <br />readings to the City Manager of Customer Services by 2:00 P.M. <br />each Friday. The City shall review at the end of each service <br />year all accounts which were utilized to establish the initial <br />base rate herein. The County's costs shall be adjusted upward -or <br />downward effective on January 2 of each year based on the results <br />of such review(s). <br />7. The City has installed a 6" underground water main with <br />appropriate valves and has installed a 4" water meter at 18th <br />Street and 6th Avenue; to temporarily connect the City's water <br />system to the water system of the "area". Title thereto shall <br />remain with the City. The facilities in place on the date of <br />this agreement have been paid for by Mid -Florida under a previous <br />contract between Mid -Florida, the County, and the City. <br />8. The City has installed an 8" water main with.appropriate <br />valves at 12th Avenue from the south entrance of Vero Mall Shopping <br />Center as a second interface connection point on the "area's" <br />system. Title thereto shall remain with the City. No meter is <br />presently in place. The County may request that this interface be <br />activated at the County's costs, including meter(s). <br />9. If the City shall provide any materials, supplies, and/or <br />labor for the construction, repair, maintenance, or installation <br />of any water mains and associated parts thereof, to service the <br />"area" or any part thereof, County shall pay to the City, the <br />City's actual supply and material costs (exclusive of meters), plus <br />10% thereof, and the City's actual labor costs, plus 30% thereof, <br />including labor to provide water meters.
