COUNTY ZONING DIRECTOR DEWEY WALKER COMMENTED THAT THERE IS <br />A ZONING VIOLATION THAT CLOUDS THE TITLE, AND ALSO THERE IS A FENCE <br />SITTING ON THE EASEMENT, WHICH WILL HAVE TO BE MOVED OR A VARIANCE WILL <br />HAVE TO BE OBTAINED. <br />MR. LISBETH INFORMED THE BOARD THAT LOT #10 IS BEING SOLD AND <br />ASKED THAT THE COMMISSION VACATE 2' OF THE EASEMENT SO THAT THE HOUSE <br />WILL NO LONGER ENCROACH ON THE EASEMENT. HE NOTED THAT A 22' EASEMENT <br />WILL STILL EXIST, WHICH IS ADEQUATE FOR DRAINAGE AND UTILITIES. <br />DISCUSSION CONTINUED REGARDING THE EASEMENT, AND PLANTING OF <br />SHRUBBERY ON THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE. <br />MR. WALKER STATED THAT NOTHING IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE EASE- <br />MENT. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS NOTED THAT A 22' EASEMENT IS SUFFICIENT <br />TO OPERATE IN, BUT THE FENCE WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS SAID HIS APPROACH WOULD BE TO HOLD OFF SIGNING <br />THE RELEASE UNTIL THE FENCE IS REMOVED." <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 78-87 APPROVING THE RELEASE <br />OF EASEMENT AS REQUESTED BY WALTER AND WILMA SMOCK, AND AUTHORIZED THE <br />SIGNATURE OF THE CHAIRMAN UPON REMOVAL OF THE FENCE AND INSPECTION BY <br />THE COUNTY ZONING !DEPARTMENT. <br />THESE DOCUMENTS WILL BE MADE A PART OF THE MINUTES WHEN <br />FULLY EXECUTED. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE NEXT BROUGHT UP THE SUBJECT OF APPOINTMENTS <br />TO THE TREASURE COAST REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL, AND SUGGESTED THAT <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS SERVE IN PLACE OF FORMER COMMISSIONER SCHMUCKER. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 78-88 RECOMMENDING <br />THE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER•PATRICK LYONS TO REPLACE FORMER <br />COMMISSIONER EDWIN $CHMUCKER AS THE COUNTY'S REPRESENTATIVE ON THE <br />TREASURE COAST REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL AND ALSO RECOMMENDED THAT TERRY <br />GOFF, VERO BEACH CITY COUNCILMAN, BE APPOINTED•AS THE MUNICIPAL <br />REPRESENTATIVE. <br />16 <br />Is <br />u <br />
