LARS HAKANSSONAND ROBINDAVIS ' REOUEST FOR <br />ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF 48TH A VENUE IN WABASSO <br />(LEGISLATIVE) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Planning Director Stan Boling recapped the backup memorandum of October 16, <br />2008 to provide background information on the request by Lars Hakansson and Robin Davis for <br />the County to abandon a segment of right-of-way located on 48ffi Avenue, one block east of US <br />Highway 1 in Wabasso, and between 85th Place and 86th Street, within the Weona Park <br />Subdivision. He displayed slides and aerials of the subject right-of-way (copy on file), and <br />divulged that the abandonment would not affect the zoning line. He then presented staff's <br />recommendation that the Board of County Commissioners approve the right-of-way <br />abandonment, with the reservation of a drainage easement over the entire right-of-way area, and <br />a 30' wide utility easement running north/south and centered in the existing right-of-way. <br />21 <br />November 18, 2008 <br />
