The proposed 1979 Pre -Application will cover three fiscal years. <br />This will be a Comprehensive Project which will be called the <br />"Lower End Rehabilitation Project". HE THEN <br />INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />HAS PASSED A MOTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE COUNTY COMMISSION CONSIDER THE <br />PROPOSALS SET OUT IN HIS MEMORANDUM. <br />PLANNING DIRECTOR REDICK EXPLAINED THAT HUD GENERALLY REQUIRES <br />THAT THE PRE -APPLICATION BE SUBMITTED BY MARCH 15TH, BUT THIS YEAR THE <br />DATE HAS BEEN MOVED UP TO .JANUARY 15TH. THEY, THEREFORE, MUST MOVE VERY <br />QUICKLY IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO GET THIS BACK TO THE BOARD FOR APPROVAL <br />IN ITS FINAL FORM AND THUS THE NECESSITY TO HOLD BOTH HEARINGS ON THE <br />SAME DAY. HE NOTED THAT SINGLE PURPOSE PROGRAMS, SUCH AS WE HAD LAST <br />YEAR, IN ALL PROBABILITY WILL NOT BE FUNDED, HE CONTINUED THAT THE <br />GOVERNMENT HAS ESTABLISHED GUIDELINES BASED ON A TOTAL. OF 1,M5 POINTS AND, <br />SINCE THERE ARE SOME FACTORS OVER WHICH WE HAVE NO.
