IT IS NECESSARY THAT <br />THE COMMISSION ESTABLISH SOME AUTHORITY FOR THE OPERATION OF THE UTILITY <br />SYSTEM WITHIN THE SOUTH COUNTY MUNICIPAL SERVICE DISTRICT OF WHICH MID— <br />FLORIDA IS A PART. HE INFORMED THE BOARD THAT THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE <br />ESTABLISHES RULES AND ESTABLISHES RATES THE SAME AS PRESENTLY CHARGED <br />WITHIN THE MID—FLORIDA AREA. HE SUGGESTED THAT THE CHARGE FOR TURN—ON <br />SERVICE ON THE BOTTOM OF PAGE 2 OF THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE BE CHANGED <br />FROM $1 TO $20, WHICH IS CONSISTENT WITH RECONNECTION CHARGES THAT ARE <br />REFLECTED IN SECTION 50-21(H). <br />47 <br />W 38 fwK&9 <br />
