Additionally, he provided his reasons for <br />believing that Subject Property 2 would not be desirable for residential development. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />Attorney Barkett, representing 510, LLC, and United Indian River Packers, LLC, <br />invited questions from the Board. Receiving none, he resumed his chair. <br />William Wells, 8800 44th Avenue, opposed the land swap and requested the notification <br />from DCA. <br />The following speakers expressed their opposition to the land swap: <br />Jens Tripson, 2525 14th Street <br />Pastor Yarbrough, 4720 86th Place, Sebastian <br />Pat Mills, 4655 87th Street <br />Staff addressed Bob Johnson's question on whether the C/I land use designation would <br />be compatible with one of the existing land uses, which allows for a church on Subject <br />Property 1. <br />There being no further speakers, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner O'Bryan, to DENY <br />approval of the Resolution to transmit the proposed future <br />land use map amendment to the Department of <br />Community Affairs (DCA). <br />23 <br />November 3, 2009 <br />
