SHELL LANE EAST A PORTION OF SUMMERPLACE PETITION SEWER <br />SERVICE, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT No. UCP 4039, PRELIMINARY <br />ASSESSMENT RESOLUTIONS I AND II <br />James D. Chastain, Manager of Assessment Projects, briefed the Board on staff s request <br />to begin the assessment process associated with the Shell Lane East Gravity Sewer Project, <br />wherein the County will provide petition sewer service to ten (10) properties on Shell Lane East, <br />at a total estimated cost of $84,973.30. He thereafter presented staff's recommendation for the <br />Board to approve Preliminary Assessment Resolutions I and II, approving the preliminary <br />assessment roll and establishing the public hearing date. <br />Chairman Davis asked whether the project had come in over or under the anticipated <br />cost, and Director Chastain advised that the final cost would be bid out after the public hearing <br />on December 1, 2009. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br />approved Resolution 2009-168, providing for sewer main <br />expansion to Shell Lane East (a portion of Summerplace) <br />in Indian River County, Florida; providing the total <br />estimated cost, method of payment of assessments, <br />39 <br />November 3, 2009 <br />
