BARTON, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CLERK OF CIRCUIT <br />COURT CONSTITUTIONAL OFFICER FINANCIAL REPORT FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2006-2007 <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court Jeffrey K. Barton provided the details of the annual <br />Financial Report, the activities, and the excess fees in the amount of $411,191.89, which had been <br />returned to the County for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2007. He also divulged the details <br />of how the State operates and how the budget is controlled every year. <br />County Administrator Joseph Baird informed the Board that he had been notified <br />that the State had taken over the Guardian Ad Litem program. He felt it was a savings for the State <br />but an extra expense for the County because additional office space is now required for their five <br />new employees. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board by a vote of 4-0 <br />(Chairman Wheeler absent) accepted the Financial Report <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for the fiscal year <br />2006-2007, returning excess fees in the amount of <br />November 6, 2007 23 <br />
