Mr. Legwen <br />said Director Keating told him that all it would take is the cost of $15 <br />to get a building permit. <br /> <br />More discussion followed regarding the purposes of a building permit and <br />turnaround time. <br /> <br />Chairman Neuberger recapped the Board’s decision. Further discussion ensued on <br />whether they needed to have a Motion or to address the matter after the bids are in and Mr. Legwen <br />comes back and they see the progress. <br /> <br />THE MOTION WAS WITHDRAWN. <br /> <br />There was CONSENSUS to give Mr. Legwen 120 days <br />extension and for him to get the necessary building <br />permit(s). The matter would thereafter be addressed after <br />the demolition bids are received. <br /> <br /> <br />2.REQUEST TO SPEAK FROM MICHAEL O’HAIRE <br /> <br />REGARDING AUTHORIZATION OF LOCATION OF <br />FACILITY FOR HOMELESS IN RESIDENTIAL <br />NEIGHBORHOOD <br /> <br />(Clerk’s Note: this item was heard before Item 9.B.1) <br />Michael O’Haire <br /> pointed out that this was a land use decision that staff made and <br />there was no public notice of it. He would not speak to the merits of the decision because he has an <br />appeal pending. He, however, asked the Board to rescind staff’s decision until they go through the <br />November 7, 2006 <br />25 <br /> <br />
