PRESENTATION OF PROCLAMATION HONORING FRAN B. <br />ADAMS <br />Commissioner Lowther read and presented the Proclamation honoring Fran B. <br />Adams and presented a retirement award for outstanding performance which she accepted with <br />great gratitude. There was a standing ovation. <br /> <br />5.D. PRESENTATION OF PROCLAMATION HONORING <br />KENNETH R. MACHT <br />Commissioner Neuberger read and presented the Proclamation honoring Kenneth <br />Macht and presented a retirement award which Commissioner Macht accepted graciously. There <br />was a standing ovation. <br />Commissioner Neuberger presented to Chairman Ginn and Commissioners’ Macht <br />and Adams a Plaque with the County logo. <br /> <br />5.E. PRESENTATION BY BETH MITCHELL, SEBASTIAN <br />CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, REGARDING ECO-HERITAGE <br />TOURISM PROMOTION PROGRAM <br />Beth Mitchell <br />, President of the Sebastian River Area Chamber of Commerce, gave <br />a presentation regarding the Eco-Heritage Tourism Promotion Program and demonstrated the <br />Eco-Heritage Interactive Tour CD that she distributed with the Promotion Booklet (on file). They <br />hope that this tour will convince everybody that they need to come to Indian River County. The <br />CD is to be used as a marketing tool and they will be uploading it onto the Chamber website: <br />www:SebastianChamber.com. <br />Ruth Stanbridge <br />, Project Manager, described the project and methodology used in <br />this program. <br /> <br /> November 9, 2004 <br />3 <br /> <br />
