RESOLUTION NUMBER 79-14 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Re: A Resolution by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, to execute an Annual <br />Contributions Contract with the Federal Department <br />of Housing &.Urban Development for participation <br />in their Section 8, Existing Housing Assistance <br />Grant Program <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County.Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, acting as a Publ.ic Housing Agency for <br />Indian River County, has received an Annual Contributions Contract <br />from the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development for <br />the "Section 8, Existing Housing Assistance Program;" and <br />WHEREAS, after due consideration, the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida; deems it in the <br />public interest to enter into a contract with the Federal <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist low and <br />very low income families.of the County in renting suitable housing. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE*IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, in public meeting <br />assembled: <br />1. That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County is authorized to execute and <br />sign the attached -Annual Contributions Contract, <br />referred to as Acc No. A-3409, between the BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA and <br />Z, the FEDERAL DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, <br />for the purpose of assisting low and very low income <br />families of the County in renting suitable housing. <br />2.. That the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, Florida, is authorized to sign the <br />following attachments to the Annual Contributions Contract: <br />' (a) "Estimate of Total Required Annual Contributions" <br />HUD Form # 52673; <br />(b) "Requisition for Partial Payment of Annual <br />Contributions" - HUD Form # 52663; <br />(c) and "Designation of Depository for Direct <br />Deposit of Grant Funds" - HUD Form # 274. <br />3. That the attorney for the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, is authorized to sign the <br />•,t Resolution attesting that the foregoing documents have <br />been duly executed in accordance with the formalities <br />required by the rules and regulations of the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida. <br />A N 2 1979,. �� 476 <br />
